June marks the beginning of the big summer events held in Downtown Naperville. The big event for June is Naper Days at the Naperville Settlement. It will be held June 19-21. Enjoy the historic Naperville museum grounds with plenty of food at the "Taste of Naperville" and bands on the big stage. Bring your chairs and meet your friends for a nice night out.

Feel like doing something on Tuesday? Come down to the Carillon (bell tower) at Rotary Hill and enjoy a concert. Every week is different with special guest Carilloneurs from around the World.

Every Thursday the Naperville Municipal Band plays at Central Park. This is a long-standing Naperville tradition that is a must visit. Enjoy the music and the old-time ice cream social.

Come down to the Riverwalk on Friday nights and enjoy Rollin' on the River presented by TheRiver 95.9 FM and the Naperville Park District. From 7-9pm on Fridays a variety of bands will entertain right at the Riverwalk.

Attention sports fans! Gather your friends and meet in downtown Naperville to watch the game. Baseball season is here and The Lantern, Bar Louie, Grumpy Bulldog, Features Bar & Grill, Quigley's Irish Pub, and Jimmy's Grill all have multiple TV's and welcome groups of people to cheer on their favorite teams. Hungry? Bar Louie is having their annual "Rock the Tot" tator tot eating contest at the end of April and they also have 1/2 off all appetizers 4-7pm Monday through Friday and Saturday after 9pm. As spring approaches and the weather gets nicer, you may just decide to come out of your winter hibernation. One thing still remains true, there are plenty of things to do in downtown Naperville.

March 5th-8th is "Girls Weekend." Bring your friends and family down to enjoy the premier of a brand new girls-only comedy show, a free appetizer buffet, multiple fashion shows, and a home tour. There will also be specials at many different stores as well as food and drink specials at various restaurants all weekend long.

March 14th is the PRE-celebration of St. Patrick's Day downtown with a special benefit pub crawl and the Naperville St. Patrick's Day parade. It's always a fun time watching the parade and all the people dressed for the holiday. Stop in for a casual lunch at The Lantern or Quigley's Irish Pub after the parade.

For St. Patrick's Day on March 17th you will find out where the parties are and where to get the corned beef and green beer.

There are plenty of theatrical and musical performances to attend this month at North Central College. Among the many items on the agenda is a special performance by Peter Mayer on March 22nd at Wentz Concert Hall. He has been the lead guitarist for the past 20 years with Jimmy Buffet's group, the Coral Reefer Band. March 28th brings a special performance by award-winning actor, dancer and singer Ben Vereen.
